Jeffrey M. Trigger
Jeffrey M. Trigger is Founder and President of La Corsha Hospitality Group headquartered in Austin, Texas.
As a native of the California wine country, Mr. Trigger began his career with Amfac Resorts in California and Hawaii prior to being transferred to The Historic Adolphus Hotel in Dallas in 1984. He was later recruited by Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in 1991 to become the Managing Director of The Mansion on Turtle Creek in Dallas. In 1999 he was recruited to restore and reposition The Driskill Hotel in Austin Texas, and one year after the hotel's successful sale in 2005, Mr. Trigger launched La Corsha Hospitality Group.
Since 2005, La Corsha has grown to more than 350 employees. Texas Monthly Magazine named La Corsha's Austin restaurant Congress as Best New Restaurant in 2010, while Esquire Magazine named it in the Top Ten New Restaurants in the Country. Second Bar + Kitchen, another La Corsha entity, was named by Bon Appetite in 2011 as one of their Top Ten choices nationwide.
Mr. Trigger's professional, civic, cultural, and charitable leadership positions include; Chair Emeritus Positions from The Texas Hotel & Lodging Association, The Downtown Austin Alliance, ECHO (Ending Chronic Homelessness Organizing Committee) and First Night, Austin. He currently is Treasurer of the Trail Foundation. Additionally he serves or has served on the board or advisory board the following organizations; Both the Austin and Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureaus, Communities in Schools Austin and Dallas, Ballet Austin, The Dallas Opera, The Helping Hand Home for Children, The Long Center for the Performing Arts, The Heritage Society of Austin, Housing Works, and Front Steps. Mr. Trigger is a former board member of The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.
Jeff's extensive background in managing and renovating some of the most treasured hotels in the state of Texas makes him a tremendous asset for The Baker Hotel. Trigger has been listed as a "General Manager of the Year" by Business Traveler Magazine and recognized by Leaders Magazine as one of the "Best Hotel Managers in The World."
