Laird A. Fairchild
Laird A. Fairchild is a principal with Hunter Chase Capital Partners (HCCP) - a full service real estate development, construction, management, and investment firm located in Southlake, Texas.
Mr. Fairchild originally joined Hunter Chase in 2004 with the primary responsibility of managing the sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and closing of real estate investments as well as overseeing the Dallas operations. In this position, Mr. Fairchild played an integral role in the capitalization that resulted in the acquisition, renovation and eventual highly-successful divestment of the Austin Hyatt in downtown Austin, Texas.
Prior to joining Hunter Chase, Mr. Fairchild was a Senior Vice President and Managing Director for KeyBank National Association's Real Estate Equity Group. In his five years in this capacity, Mr. Fairchild oversaw over $500 million in real estate mezzanine and equity investments.
Prior to his position within the Real Estate Equity Group, Mr. Fairchild was a Vice President and National Accounts real estate lending officer for KeyBank's Commercial Real Estate Division. In this role, Mr. Fairchild initiated a relationship with over a dozen prominent Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and developed a national accounts portfolio in excess of $1 billion.
The HCCP team brings decades of combined development and financial experience to each transaction. The team members have worked together for more than thirteen years while creating and managing KeyBank's Real Estate Private Equity Group and Hunter Chase and Company (a predecessor to Hunter Chase Capital Partners).
Mr. Fairchild received his B.A. in finance at Miami University and holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management.
